Its worth it though, better to only rebuild it once, then 2 or 3 times.

what is an atkins video and where the hell can i get that? yeah i got 86 gxl (oh yeah!). i found this switch that says on and off (my fc is currently not running, so i can't find out what it does). the switch is right next to my adjustible suspension switch in my center console. it annoys the fuck out of me not knowing what it does. thanks

"The" atkins video is a video made to give first timers step by step instructions on how to rebuild their rotary engines. Ill try to find a link.

Go to www.atkinsrotary.com and the info is there. Or just use this. I'd call them up and ask them to ship you one! Very very very helpful from what im told. Goodluck!

well i would replace the engine rotors, stationary gears, counter weights, and apex seals. www.racingbeat.com has a good set of light weight rotors and everything else you need. if you get the rotors and carbon apex seals you'll redline at 8500 rpm's and if you get the super light weight rotors you'll redline at 9500 to 10000 rpm's. its a bit pricy but its worth it.
but if you get the super lightweight rotors it would be best if you milled them for 3mm apex seals, and replace your flywheel, clutch, stationary gears, the counter weights come with the rotors. and since your rebuilding and you do this you can also buy a porting template and clean your housings so you dont have to buy new ones for the rotors. but this is really for a die hard race car... but man would you be a billy bada$$ out on the road if you had this done 8)
