You could use Hondabond instead of using the gasket. You can get it at any Honda dealership, but I have never removed the cover while the motor was still installed.

Whats honda bond?

It's a high temp liquid gasket, it cost about $12 a tube. It works really well.

So what I just put it over where its leaking and it will stop it ,and I wouldnt need to take off the front cover and replace the gasket?

I was saying to use the Hondabond instead of the gasket when you do remove the cover. As far as removing the cover while in the car never personally done it, but I would say to read this http://mazdatrix.com/faq/pulley.htm .

Use a block of wood to hold down the clutch, radiator fan out depending on clearance, belts off, main pulley off, clutch in at all time from here until the main nut is re-installed, undo nut, pull off the hub (make sure key stays in), pry out old seal don't scratch anything. Use a block of wood or a socket and tap new seal in, install hub and torque down and then install is reverse of removal. Just an idea of what is going to be done. Make sure you read the Mazdatrix faq above.

I read that before so what it is saying is basicly is that as long as I keep the clutch held in while I have the front hub bolt out my bearings wount fall out of place , because thats the main thing Im conserned about.

I assume that's what it's saying. You could give the guys at Mazdatrix a call to verify.

I think I will.
