1987 Turbo II
 

Looking to add power steering or some type of power assist steering to my 1987 Turbo II.
Have been quoted $2500-$3000 for full power steering system add on. Is it possible instead to add a servo motor type unit for "power assist" steering like you can put on a 60's muscle car to help turn the car without getting into full blown power steering? Not worried about effect on handling at this point- just need to make the car easier to turn.
