AE86 question

question did all AE86 corollas come with a solid rear axle and 4 barrle carb intake manifold

I fairly sure that the AE86 did come with fuel inject motors the 4AGE DOHC 1587cc, the carb motors were the 4AC SOHC 1587cc. Not sure in the rear end though.

cos I see people puting a big 4 barrle type intake on them but I think there still fuel injected when they do that though. man I would love to have an AE86 they are my 2nd favorite car

Are you talking about individual throttle body set ups or custom four barrel throttle body made for converting carb to EFI?

Individual Throttle Body:

Dual IDA Carb:

Four Barrel EFI Throttle Body: These can come two different ways. (injectors in the manifold or injectors in the the throttle body like below)

BTW Corolla AE85's & AE86 are on the same chassis, but different powertrain & drivetrains. They came in hatch & coupe versions, later to be replaced by the AE92 (FWD platform)

Levins had fixed (non pop up) headlights & the Trueno had pop ups.
