It may be due to the grouding of the MAF, its a common problem often between 3800-4000rpm but it can happen at othere rpm's.

Change your tranny oil, put in some GM syncromesh...

Change your tranny oil, put in some GM syncromesh or motul gear oil, will help with syncro issues (unless there REALLY bad), and have a look at your clutch fluid and condition.

Yup it will be expensive, not its not simple.

Need engine, tranny, drivehaft, diff, half shafts, ecu, wifing harness ect ect.
Often it is cheaper just to buy a TII
