I'm sure you'll have to weld some mounts. No biggie. Electronics will be a PITA. I've seen it done to an FB and FC... but never to an FD.

The RX-8 is underpowered. SRT4's are kicking it around the block. That's not supposed to happen. In 2004, 250hp is the bare minimum for a sport car, IMO.

I'm hoping to pick up my car at the end of the month. Sooner if I can find the time, but i doubt it.

Well, I don't think it'll ever be accused of being pretty. I'm gonna do all the bodywork, rattle can it black, put on some lightweight rims and call it a day. But it's gonna handle like a champ! :)

A ZR1 can be had for less than a new Corvette. I've seen 'em as low as 15k, dending on mileage and condition. If I were to get a Corvette, I'd certianly get that, or a Z06, or something of that...
