Yes on the pinto as well as fieros. No on car making up to the japs. American designers are focusing on being very american and different from all other cars, they're doing it just fine because a lot of guys just want muscly wild ass hard to control cars. And they get them. It's not that their stupid, its that the car makers know their market.
Chevy trucks are the best.
