Default Looking for Oil Pump hoses/lines
I have been somewhat successful in getting the car going after 6 years. Was very happy to find out that the gas tank does have a drain plug. I am leaking oil in what seems to be the oil pump lines. I am having trouble finding replacements. Anyone have any suggestions? I have been using RockAuto and have been getting great deals on parts but they don't have these. I have an '85 GSL-SE.

Are you talking about the oil metering pump (OMP) or the oil pump itself?

On either account check Mazdatrix.

I am not sure. I have a fairly large leak that only happens when oil pressure builds when car is running. It looks like it is coming from the the big lines/hoses running from pump to engine (below battery). It may be fittings or lines or pump I guess. I had some signs of critters, rat or mouse, that I am wondering if they chewed lines. Everything else is working great and car seems to be running well. Took it for a 100 km run yesterday. Not bad after sitting for 6 years.

Does anyone use Rockauto for parts? I find them to be most reasonable.
