Question ceramic seal
Hi ya'll im trying to get info on ceramic seals im rebuilding a new engine for my blue rx7 i would like to know if i should get 2mm 2pc seals or 2mm 1pc seal now im building this engine so it can last forever thats why im buying these seals im not turboing it porting it dont want more horse i love my car im keeping it till i die and ill kill it if i know when that day is so can anyone help and if you know where i can get the seals

Why not run the factory Mazda OEM seals, since you are not looking for anything fancy as far as the build goes? The Mazda seals a very good & no reason to try ceramics in a stock rebuild.

i heard that they absorb heat much better and dont wear the housing as much and are reuseable if need be

You would be correct, but generally they are used in performance builds. The Mazda OEM seals are fairly strong as well & won't destroy the housings like some for a fraction of the cost.

Yes the oem seals would work fine and last long but his main goal is to make the engine last as long as possible, and he's willing to dish out the money to do so.
