We sounds like a good price, if he has the know how, time & money he can make a decent car.

I have witnessed some high power SOHC Honda's do their thing at the track. I have also built a few 300+ hp Honda's & can tell you if done right on the track they will perform well. Some good friends of mine own & race 700+ hp Honda's. Some pluses for Honda is their lightweight advantage, aftermarket support, price & parts interchange.

Know the capabilities of the car in which you are building will help you decided in what direction to go. Obviously if you like drifting FWD platforms would not be the choice for you. There's a place for all platforms (FWD, RWD or AWD).

That's why I own vehicles of all three platforms!

Yea I get what your saying ,and I dont mined a honda if you do it right and dont just put body kits and a can on the exhaust they can make dam nice cars for racing on tracks and auto cross and other raceing styles as long as you set up the suspenion right to counter act the under steer they suffer from, and im not trying to dis on peoples cars I am just not a fan of front wheel drive cars! But yes I think they are prity cool when they are done right body suspention engine exhaust ecu but if you dont have the money or means to do so like in my buddys case they are just daily drivers to me!
