Default intake
i have not been able to find a intake for a 88 GXL , just the later years is there a difference

for example will this fit

the best way to go is to get a k&n insert because if you get that intake you will have to make a custom box to keep the hot air from your engine out and right now your car is getting its air from the front before any thing hot gets to it but if your will to make a custom box the K&n makes one you would have to call them though but yea i highly recomend K&N

i have a k&n filter charger on my 87 na. i hooks right up to the stock air intake piping (the plastic crap) but i've seen guys use injen technologies cool air intake piping for early 90's integras w/ the k&n filter charger (see racing beat) and they work great. also, as far as making a box or heat sheild, you've prbably got what it takes to make a functional and presentable one in your garage. good luck bro.
