As me and my cousin always say are e shaft is the cam shaft and the rotors are are valves!

Like I posted above ports handle the duties of a piston motors cams, valve train. So re shaping them will be somewhat like changing cam profiles, head porting & adjusting the the cam.

The E shaft would be the Crank & the rotor is basically a 3 faced piston with no rods.
