Smile Question on shifting
I know how to drive manuel but this is going to be my first manuel car, on my 89 n/a gxl when racing (at the track of course) do you red line shift? Or is that bad for the engine/tranny?

In all honesty the best way to find the sweet spot is to play around & feel for the change. Some set ups I have seen, power drops off before redline so no point being up there where no power is & some set ups I have seen power continues to climb above the factory redline.
