I personally not a fan of TMIC only because of heat source being right underneath. FMIC, if mounted properly it will give it a chance to cool forced air in spite of catch on road heat.

Chargecooler, on the other hand has steady cooling effect and, thus much higher in price.

Yes you could actually run a air to air intercooler if you feel like running a shit ton of piping. I'll see if I can find some engine bay pics, everyone wants my secrets! LOL

Well here is a pic. Things are apart & out of the car right now, but the basic idea is clear.

A mess!

Nice wiring! ...and plumbing and everything else! I always catch myself trying to view beyond the frame to see further... I hate that.

So today I decided to start my initial tear down. I pulled the power steering, A/C pieces & intake manifold, blower throttle body ect. The car has been down for some time now so I have also decided to pull the motor for a rebuild & new porting. The idea is to clean things up in the engine bay & freshen up the motor. The power steering & A/C will not be going back in, considering that I never really drove the car all that much & don't plan on changing that. Basically just a weekend car during the summer. Next weekend I plan on pulling the motor to set aside till I get the rebuild kit. I most likely will start pulling the interior & stripping down the paint on the car. This will be a slow process as there is other things in everyday life in which come first. I will update things as I go & try to get pics up.

That sounds nice. Work on cars while dealing with everyday life... what a concept!

I need to go buy a bench grinder with a buffing wheel. I might polish up some of the dull parts.
