I'm going to try to make it faster by doing a coulpe things. performance pulgs, a mini electric supercharger thing, a turbine in the air intake, and 2 performance chips. Some day i hope to sell it and buy a real rx-7 turbo 2.
I'm also planing on straight piping it soon.

FC's 1986 GXL & 1988 SE
As for mods some serious changes happening so I'll just say GXL heavily modded & SE lightly modded.

Save your money, don't mess with that electric supercharger. Get a full exhaust (header back) & you will be happy trust me. You also lost me on the 2 performance chips? Were you speaking of a chipped ECU?

Picked up the car yesterday 1/24/11. One Owner/42,000 Mile rich persons toy that they didn't drive that much.

Has a bit of parking lot and garage rash but runs like a top. Planning on changing fluids, belts, etc. over the next few weekends. I plan on keeping it stock (minus a stereo upgrade) and enjoying it on the weekends.

Thanks for providing such a great resource for all of us 'do it yourselfer's'. I'm sure I'll be on this forum often

Welcome Bwag. A nice set of wheels & springs could really add to the looks of the car. Subtle things like exhaust, sway bars & strut bars can make a nice difference for a spirited drive.

I remember two lightly modded 10th anniversary models around here. They were bought & sold all the time.
