Vokan Junior Member Join Date: May 2016 Posts: 2	Auto to Standard transmission swap Hi, I have a 89 rx7 gxl with an automatic transmission, and I found a 86 gxl in the junkyard with a complete standard transmission. I am planning to do a swap but I was wondering how easy it would be to do this, I was thinking that a manual transmission for a 89 and 86 would be fairly similar, so a fitting issue wouldn't be a big issue. But for the wiring and overall brain functions would need to be changed or converted. So any tips or facts you guys know that you think would aid me in this journey would be great. Thank you!
