Default what is the best option?
hello.
I plan to buy a used RX-8 in France.

I see that most of the RX-8 change the engine around 60000 miles...

so would you prefer, for the same price and same condition a RX-8 with 4400 miles on the clock, or a model with 75000 miles with the engine changed 2200 miles ago?

about changing the engine, why people change the complete engine, usually, and not only the wear parts? How much cost a new engine?

thanks

loic, in France

Rotary engine failures are primarily all internal and that is a reason for either rebuild or engine swap. I am not familiar with French market but you can get rebuild kit from Atkins Rotary for about $1,300 or have someone swap the engine for you! Good luck and welcome to the fourm!
