Default 93 vs 94 RX-7
I was wondering if there are, if any, major differences between the 93 and 94 RX-7 models? Besides the year.

Yes, there are also package differences. Also, I believe they fixed some reliability issues. If I recall correctly, there were recalls on the 93 rx7's for certain overheating problems under the drive seat? (not directly under the drive seat but under the flooring). I'm not 100% sure. Also, R1 was scrapped for R2 right? Touring renamed Popular Equipment Group (I believe)

Please correct me if I am wrong.

93 had some "issues" of BBQ under the hood also.

The 94-95 also had passenger air bag, The tan interior option for 94-95 had black doors and black rear bins. The 93 with tan had tan bins and tan doors. So it would be easier to do a black interior conversion with a 94-95. Just change the carpet and seats basically. The gauge cluster hood, ac panel and shifter panel were changed out and textured so they wern't as brittle as the 93 versions. I noticed the glove box looks a tad bit different as well as the dome light. K thats all.

I've owned a 93 R1 and now I have a 94 PEP.
