Looking for value

I have been asked to help the local TV station find the value of a 1979 Madza RX-7 in pristine condition with 22,000 original miles. The owner had the car in climate controlled storage. He passed away and his wife donated the car to the TV station, who in turn wants to sell it to raise funds for continued local programming. Have you tried at a classic car showroom where they tend to independently search and give you a better idea? I had an e40 that I really wanted at a point but could never get my hands on as the owner sold it for much higher than I could offer. :/ I adore all kinds of vintage cars since my childhood years. My biggest dream is to get one of these cars that you usually find exhibited in showroom to see the best classic cars like the ones is hosting on a yearly manner and I love attending. I will take my friends this year and attend again as I've heard they will be even COVID-19 compliant, so it will be a really safe event to attend!
