well the Apex seals go on your engine rotor. you need 6 seals for 2 rotors
3 seals on each rotor. the atkins video is good and so is a haynes manual. both of them tell you how to work on your car

look at each point on the rotor and you will see a slit and that is where the apex seal goes and the spring goes under the apex seal so it pushes the seal against the housing acting similar to the rings on a piston
