porting

as i've been searching this site, i've noticed there isnt alot about porting...street port, bridge port, and all the other styles, i think we could start a good thread on this topic...any opinions or posts appreciated as i would love to learn more about this mod

As to porting is concerned I rely on pro like BDC. His work is like an art!

I know Racing Beat sells or used to sell template for porting. Idea is great, though.

thanks for that posting in the FAQ section, definatly informative, i really liked how it layed out the pros and cons of each style. based on this i think i will look into an extend port for when i build a turbo rotary, does the porting effect the different series engines differently? like the same port on a 13bt and on an REW? just wondering, cause im looking to pick up an REW motorset

The 13b REW have larger ports from the factory. Check this link on the 13bt vs. 13b REW. The 13b RE out of the Cosmo I think had the largest factory ports.
