thanks. im hoping i can make it super nice. ive always wanted one. and you know im sure this like prolly wrong. but i can not stand first gen body. blech. gross. still an rx7 tho. just not my taste. but fc.. i love it. it was either fc or fd. and couldnt find an fd plus like fc body better.

On the different gen RX7's. They each have their own place & will appeal to different people. I didn't use to like the 1st gens, but now I own two along with my two 2nd gens, they will grow on you. 3rd gens have that sex appeal to them, but they can be expensive & tend to rattle.

not hating or anything but idk. lol. i like em. but i would never have a 1st gen. sorry but hideous. i want a fd. cuz they lighter. and all around apparently better

FD is definitely not lighter then a SA/FB or FC unless you are talking about the Conv. SA22C / FB3S around 2300 to 2400 lbs, FC3S 2600 to 3000 lbs & FD3S 2800 to 3000 lbs. These weights vary between trim levels on each model.

i always heard they made a lot of improvements over fc for fd. including weight. guess people are dumb

I always have preference over FC than FD, but 1st gen has continually gaining popularity due to lack of FC availability and its light weight.

I'd go with 1st Gen before going for FD! Less electronics, easy to work on and cheaper.

yeah but i heard parts were hard to come by for fb. and you know im a fan but i guess not a true fan cuz i just dont find the first gen appealing.
