Default just got an 88 and wont start need help and did some tests
my 88 wont start just cranks slowly so i checked the starter at autozone and passed, battery is new i cleaned starter terminals check resistance on leading and trailing coils and are good checked fuel pump and its good also it did a backfire so that means that im getting spark and fuel right??? not really sure, but i did a compression test and i dont kno if i did it right because of the readings i unplugged the crank sensor and fuel pump and had it at wide open throttle so i got 2 low pulses and then a slightly larger one but still below specs on first rotor and on second it was same but a lil bit higher still below specs though i have a snap-on compression tester so its not faulty...
what could be the cause of low compression and how can i fix it i got a lot of time in my hands and really anxious to get it running
